Laura Watson

Owner – Stylist

Laura is a legacy stylist and salon owner, as the daughter of Barbara Gentle. She has 20 years of experience as a stylist, and has trained literally her entire life to own and operate Gentle Touch Salon. She prayerfully seeks to lead the salon into new and exciting endeavors, while honoring its storied history.

Laura is outstanding with cut and color styles and techniques, and is proficient at helping a client take an idea or concept and make it reality. Her favorite Aveda product is: Thickening Tonic.

She is married and and has two sons. They love the lake, Disney, camping, and relaxing by the pool.

Barbara Gentle

Lead Stylist – Mentor – Mom to all – Director of FUN!

Barbara has 40+ years of experience in the salon business, as an owner and stylist. She has perfected the art of consultation through training and countless client interactions. This knowledge base and insight enable her to achieve stunning results with cut and color. Barbara loves Aveda products: especially Damage Remedy Leave in Conditioner and Tulusara Wedding Masque and adds: “Girl, you only have one face, take care of it!!”
As the cornerstone upon which Gentle Touch Salon was built, Barbara strives to “be an exceptional part of your day, and to make a difference not only with guests, but with team members as well”.

She enjoys travelling with her husband, as well as spending time with her 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Storm Hopkins

Salon Manager – Stylist

Storm has over 7 years of experience as a stylist. She specializes in: microblading, balayage, and roller sets. In addition, she provides rejuvenating Aveda skin care facials. Storm is also very proficient with advanced color techniques, and maintains extensive and continuing knowledge of trending styles.

Her mission is to “provide top tier education to all guests, and provide a relaxing experience.” Storm has amazing leadership skills, and works diligently to make each Gentle Touch Salon guest feel cared for. Her favorite Aveda product is Botanical Kinetics Radiant Skin Refiner.

Brandi Dye

Stylist

Brandie began her 8+ year career as an esthetician. She has transitioned to a very talented stylist and lash artist. Her specialties are dimensional color, hair extensions, and smoothing treatments. She is a certified Vomor Extensions specialist. Her favorite Aveda products are: Smooth Nourishing Creme and Speed of Light Spray.

Brandie aspires to use her talents, skills, and education to assist and inspire her guests. She feels by enhancing and highlighting the guest’s natural beauty, she can “help them walk a little taller”.

Brittany Higginbotham

Stylist

Brittany has 11 years of experience as a stylist and has spent time as a salon manager. She is exceptional with hair color, as well as men’s haircuts. Her mission is ‘’To help people feel more confident and beautiful”.
